My illustrations based on the novel "One Hundred Years of Solitude" by the writer Gabriel García Márquez.

    'm passionate about the novel "One Hundred Years of Solitude" the first time I read it I was 23 years old, and despite the fact that it is a required book during school, I never gave it much importance, until years later one day I found the book at home and since I did not have a television and I was looking for something to entertain myself with, I decided to read it, I immersed myself in reading for several days, and since then I could not get rid of reading in general, but especially this beautiful book. Now, after so much time (23 years to be exact), I've taken seriously the task of illustrating my imagination of how I perceive, in particular, the love story between Rebeca and José Arcadio. They defied society, beliefs, taboos, and family values ​​to pursue their happiness. This happiness was based on true love and an indomitable passion, but also on pure dedication, without prejudice, pride, or vanity, with a nakedness of soul and an inexplicable connection from the first moment of their encounter in the story.

This work is made with dedication, passion, and contemplation of love, seen as that to which every human being has the right: to love and be loved.
